Very budget, light duty
a month ago
I bought this several years ago and bring it with me to every camping trip. The small size is easy to store. The flat grip is not too comfortable to get a tighter grip than a round handle. The hammer end is great for driving tent stakes. Axe blade is sharp, I use it to shave fire logs and chop/split small pieces for tinder without issue. For larger wood, it'll probably take a lot of effort since this 1 piece construction doesn't offer any dampening. I haven't used the pry end but I supposed it should work fine.
The sheath is trash though, I leave it on when I use the hammer to avoid accidentally cutting myself and it split open on my 2nd camp trip with it. I came here to see if I can buy a replacement but nope. The polypropelene handle is held on by 2 screws which came loose from chopping and hammering, I used threadlocker to secure it and it hasn't came loose yet.
