Very Nice features on a short machete, Excellent money for value aspect ! If this same blade was made from .187 steel, It would be Twice as good ! Yeah a tad more weight But you ain't gonna bend it ! But until they make one like that, I really like the present one, And has worked good so far. If something breaks this, I would buy another one.

I bought this tanto machete about a month and a half ago and it’s still the best machete that I have, no complaints whatsoever.

I've had my Sogfari for about 7 years cut trees split fire wood choped 2 x4s you know abused it. I used it for work and camping, it only had one slight deflection from hitting a 200 year old oak tree root system. Unfortunately my rubber handle finally broke. I replaced it with a brand name competitor last night. That blade only lasted a couple hours of splitting wood. Glinting and deflections all over. Long story short I need to order another one. Best inexpensive working knife I have found.
