Our Hudson Bay Camp Axe is faithful to historical examples stretching back over 100 years. Sized to be convenient to carry on every outdoor adventure, it's an essential tool you won't want to go into the woods without. Best of all, it features our ground breaking clamp-like locking mechanism which is so ruggedly hard to "pull off" that it doubles the industry standard! Additionally, it's possible to change out a broken handle in less than two minutes. What's more, if you're caught in the wilderness, a field-expedient replacement handle can be improvised from nearly any piece of wood available.

Its metal, its wood, its made in Taiwan.

Got the camp axe today, i like its weight, a little on the light side, but for campong it seems right. I haven't used it yet, however the First thing I noticed, it is made in Taiwan. Kinda pricey for overseas mass production and I thought I was buying something manufactured in the states... Dissappointing. i guess I'll see how it holds up after my first cord of wood. Remember to loctite them screws.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Love/Hate relationship

I purchased the axe for a throwing axe league I play in. I loved it Until the handle split. My son purchased the exact axe so I have been using his. I think the split was a strange happening

    Yes, I recommend this product.

How to fix loose screw on axe

Sir please use some thread locker like blue medium strength lock tire liquid. Put that on the screw threads and let dry . Your axe head won’t come loose after that .

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    It’s ok but

I took a little risk on this axe as my first axe feels light but nice weight. The screws on the axe head gets loose often so I gotta check it every couple swings so I don’t accidentally lose a screw oh and the screws gets rusty orange but the axe head hasn’t rusted yet.. I was happy the design made it easy for you to replace handles or axe head in the future but design is kinda flawed I’ll most likely loctite them soon..

No, I do not recommend this product.
