I bought this for a new horse I bought that is middle aged. She ate the pellets right up and seemed to be doing well at first, but over time (4 to 6 months) behavioral changes emerged. She became progressively more upset and spooky, to the point that she was trembling if one of us even touched her. In the past I had another horse that became very jittery on MSM. I took my new horse off this supplement and within 4 days saw a big difference in her behavior. After a couple of months off everything I reintroduced a joint supplement without MSM and she is doing great, super calm and happy. Not trying to knock this product, just want others to be aware of this issue; 3 other boarders in my barn have owned horses who got spooky when on MSM.

I have a young OTTB and I have him on Smartflex to maintain healthy joints.
