This easy-to-install pump replacement kit is for gas pressure washers* with a horizontal engine and a 1 diameter shaft, such as the Honda GX270. This pump can produce up to 3800 PSI at 3.5 GPM. The 90038 is designed with dual oversized ball bearings to reduce friction and allow for long lasting performance in the toughest cleaning environments. Q: Says 3800psi at 3.5 gpm but the one pic say 2800psi at 2.8 gpm so which is it? Big difference!

- A: 3.5 gpm is 3.5 gallons of water per minute. 2.5 gpm is a lower pressured pump and will only deliver 2.5 gallons of water per min. this can be a very significant change in performance when dealing with stain removal.5 years agoHelpful?

I bought this pump back in November of 2021, used it for 10-15 hours, and it's broken down on me. Checked the oil and there was metal shavings everywhere. This product was faulty and should be covered under warranty.

Fake warranty. Simpson will not stand behind warranty. If it works when you get it, it’s yours. Fine print excludes all pump internal parts.

Replacement Pump for Dewalt 3800

This is an exact replacement for my previous pump which blew a seal or two. It was a simple swap out and is already to go with only four bolts.
I would’ve rather rebuilt the older one but this will last longer with less fuss.
Yes, I recommend this product.
