This is a great beginner pole

Not sure I wanted to invest a lot of $$ on a hobby I was unfamiliar with but this pole fit the needs, makes it easy to lower pole. Clip springs tend to get brittle if left to the elements all year ( I had to get a replacement set), recommend storing the pole during off season.

Clips broke, had to use screws. No base to set in the ground. Wind bent pole.

This was my second pole purchase. During installation, one of the buttons that slide into the house triangle during installation broke. It was plastic. The other two buttons did not depress easily. The older pole with metal buttons was much better, in my opinion.

Good quality materials Poor telescoping hardware

Would not buy again. It is strong aluminum, however the plastic clips are not strong enough and therefore this allows for sloppy back and forth movement of the telescopic poles which are triangular in shape. I buried the first part of this pole in the ground about 18” because it didn’t have a ground sleeve.
