Q: How can I get the bottom of this feeder apart ?
a year ago- A: Do you mean for the flowers of those feeding ports of the Balloon hummingbird feeder? If so, these could come off with force, pulling them off base, but be careful not to break them while pulling..a year agoHelpful?
Q: The perches need to be redesigned, they’re too large.. I found a dead hummer stuck in one flying up from the bottom while hanging. I cut them off to prevent that tragedy!

Q: I got the base apart by using my thumb in the center and gently loosening it. It is tight as first. My question is do the flowers come off and apart. My other style does for a thorough cleaning. I don't want to break the flowers.

Q: Can ants and bees get into the feeder?
3 years ago- A: Ants, bees and wasps are attracted to the same sugar nectar that hummingbirds like. A nectar guard is a small piece of flexible plastic that attaches to a feeding port. The center of each plastic tip is always closed, which prevents bees from getting to the nectar. But when hummingbirds stick their beaks inside, the nectar guards open so the birds can gain access to the sugar water.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: I am having the same problem with the base. I cannot get the bottom to loosen at all for cleaning. I know how to fill it and clean the other parts, so no reply is needed for that. I need to know how to loosen the base.
