Q: The posting says 5,000 max load the sticker on the hitch says 7,500???  Which is right??

  • A: Go with the load rating on the ball mount! It is the "weakest link" (besides the actual ball itself) in your towing package. Different ball mounts carry different ratings, mainly based on design and how they are made.

The Reese receiver towing mount that I purchased was exactly what I wanted and needed, and arrived in excellent condition. It was delivered to my home by Tractor Supply, and it arrived earlier than expected.

Reese Hitches Are The Best. Need one that would drop our cargo trailer down as we have a Ram 2500 and sits high. We bought the 8" drop and it was perfect for leveling out our trailer.

Always happy with Reese towing equipment. The EZ Lock holds the ball in place so I don't need 2 giant wrenches to tighten the nut. Tractor supply came through like normal.

Interlock model tow ball mount

Super item, very well made and heavy duty. Reese makes great products! Prices are good at Tractor Supply, AND they had it in stock!!! Needed it right away for a relative to use on a mini-van, to raise the tow ball up high enough to tow a landscaping trailer. Worked out perfectly or the rise height, and if needed it an be used on a four wheel drive truck in the same family with the 8 inch drop. A HUGE plus with these models of tow ball mounts is the hexagonal cut around the ball mounting hole. Get the Interlock version of the tow ball, and you will only need ONE wrench to put the ball on or take it off!! The Interlock system saves a real pain trying to track down that giant adjustable wrench, and sure speeds things up as well as making it a lot easier. Try it!!
