Pyranha Zero-Bite Natural Animal Insect Repellent is ideal for use on horses, dogs, cats, ferrets, caged pets and their premises. The goodness of geraniol, clove oil and peppermint oil brings you a safe and horse fly repellent. This organic fly protection for horses and other animals is easy to use and won't let you down. A must-have addition to your horse fly control products!

- Directions for Use: Use only in accordance with label directions and precautions
- Thoroughly brush horse to remove excess dirt and dust; Moisten (but do not wet to the point of dripping) a soft cloth and rub over the hair; It is best to apply by rubbing against the direction of hair growth
- Give special attention to legs, shoulders, shanks, neck and facial areas where flies are most often seen; Only light application is needed; Avoid using in excess amounts; Do not wet skin
- Directions for Spray Use: Zero-Bite may be applied as a light spray mist to horses, then brush lightly; Do not wet horse's skin; Do not spray near eyes and mucous membranes, apply with a soft cloth in these areas
- For Use On Dogs, Cats, Ferrets & Caged Pets: Start spraying at the tail, moving the dispenser rapidly and making sure the animal's entire body is covered, including the legs and underbody; While spraying, flu the hair so that the spray will penetrate to the skin
- Make sure that it wets thoroughly, but do not saturate the animal; Do not spray into eyes or face; Do not contact genitalia; Do not use on animals under twelve (12) weeks old; Repeat application as necessary
- Consult a veterinarian before using this product on medicated, debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals
- WARNING: PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS: May cause eye and skin irritation; Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing; Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after each use
- Sensitivity may occur after use of any pet product; If irritation occurs, bathe your pet with a mild shampoo and rinse with large amounts of water
- FIRST AID: Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor or going for treatment
- For additional information (including health concerns, medical emergencies or pesticide incidents), you may call 1-800-222-1222, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week
- IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes; Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye; Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice

Smells nice and easy to use, however it doesn't seem to work exceptionally well. I sprayed the interior of my goat barn and the flies landed directly on places that were dampened with the spray.... Have reapplied multiple times with the same result.. do not recommend for fly control..

We have a terrible gnat season this year. I used Bronco spray and within a couple hours they were swishing again. I put this on the afternoon I bought it and the next morning they were still not swishing or shaking their heads. It gave them great relief,

I bought this fly spray specifically to use when my horses were inside. After a few uses, I noticed that a couple of my horses had some bald spots on their faces, but attributed it to wearing muzzles went out. After using a couple of more times, I noticed much larger, bald spots in places where they had nothing rubbing against their face. I cannot recommend this fly spray! I had the same reaction on all three of my horses (two thoroughbreds and one quarter horse).

Not impressed with all natural repellents

I tried to change insect repellent and always use Pyranha Spray and wipe which is very pricey.
I was not pleased with the effectiveness of the Zero bite or the longevity, and I didn’t like the smell either.
Back to Spraying and wiping!

Smells great but doesn't work at all for flies and bugs in Idaho. I read lots of glowing positive reviews along with others that said Zero-Bite didn't work for them. Not sure why it works for some and not for others, but it definitely didn't work for me. I applied liberally and the flies hardly waited for the product to dry before returning just as bad as before applying. As much as I hate using - and paying the high price for - Pyranha Wipe n' Spray, it is the one that actually works.

I wanted to try using natural sprays this year. Since I LOVE the Pyranha blue-bottle spray, I decided to try their brand. I really like it. It needs a good sturdy spray bottle with a nozzle that can handle it (it clogged two of mine when I initially tried it) because it's a tad "thicker" and comes out sudsy and leaves a million bubbles on your horse at first, but I think that's great because you can see how much coverage you get from it. It also seems to leave all three of my horses coats nice and soft and shiny. It doesn't attract dust, dirt or get grimy either. I will say it's not quite as effective or last as long as the chemical spray, but I like the scent and that it's natural. I definitely recommend trying this if you're thinking about switching to natural spray.

I bought this to spray on my newborn foal and broodmare as most of the chemical sprays say don't use on anything under 3 months. This stuff smells good but lasts about 15 minutes.

Zero bite works well when first applied. It has a nice minty scent. Compared to other products, it works nearly as well as regular Pyrahna without being extra greasy or stinky. I would just say it may need to be reapplied a bit more frequently.

Natural ingredients and smells great! I feel so much better spraying this with my kids in the barn instead of other more toxic sprays. It doesn’t last quite as long for turnout purposes, but for barn work and riding, it works!

On my 2nd bottle and I've noticed that is very effective. Also doesn't irritate or dry my thoroughbred's sensitive skin and I feel good about using it rather than other products that seem too harsh or unhealthy. Plus it smells nice. I highly recommend it!

I have been using Zero-Byte spray for a couple of years because I try to use natural instead of chemical sprays for my and my horse's sake. Of course, it doesn't last as long as the chemicals, but I am able to respray during the day. It has a pleasant smell. I'm glad SmartPak stocks it in gallons as well as the smaller sizes.

This is a great product & works wonders for lots of horses but not my own horse. I’ve used this on lesson horses & other riders have borrowed it to use as well. I love the natural ingredients in it. I tried it on my personal horse & the flies didn’t seem to mind. It was as if I didn’t spray. I sprayed several times. So it works great for most horses! Sad it doesn’t work on mine:(
