Auger bit is only 30 inches. Advertised as 8 x 36. This will not get me as deep as I need to go

Hello Jh19, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. There is a separate tip that you screw onto the end of the auger (it is included but needs screwed), along with when it is installed onto the unit, as pictured, this is a 36” bit. Once that tip is screwed on (approximately 4” in length) this will be a 36” bit. What the customer has is a 36” bit and the longest bit we carry. This is standard within the industry and is how everyone does it. The error that has occurred on our end is the fact that our box for the auger was misprinted and says 30” bit instead of 36” bit. That is incorrect. The product and website is correct. The customer is taking into account the tip because it does not come installed because they are replaceable for if they become dull when hitting stone/rock.
