Overall great at knee protection and allowing enough skid/slide to move when needed. Rating reduced due to lower/non-elastic straps pulling free from their stitching within a month after purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are simply the best knee pads I have ever used on the job.Very well built and comfortable all day. It doesn't take long to appreciate that the lower strap is nylon while the upper strap is elastic. Excellent move Ergodyne! I hate when knee pads have that lower strap made of elastic, they stretch out and become useless way too soon. Well, not these beasts...So far, they've been used by myself and two other coworkers and the census is, these things just work and wear very well. My first day with them, I was using them to break ice off of a steel roof. In the last month, they have been intentionally and deliberately abused. They have taken everything we can throw at them as if they enjoy it.
