Terramycin Opthalmic Ointment with polymyxin B sulfate is indicated for the treatment of superficial ocular infections due to oxytetracyline and polymyxin sensitive organisms such as keratitis, pink eye, corneal ulcer, blepharitis in dogs, cats, cattle, sheep and horses. Also, ocular infections due to secondary bacterial complicatons of distemper in dogs and bacterial inflammatory conditions which may occur secondary to other infectious diseases in the above species.

Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment is available over-the-counter, except in California where it requires a prescription.

We do not recommend it. RECOMMENDED STORAGE: Store at controlled room temperature between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), with excursions between 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F).

This sterile ointment is usually applied as a thin film to the inside of the lower eyelid 2 to 4 times daily. If applying another medication to the same eye, wait 10 minutes before the next application.

Is this ointment used for dry eyes in dogs my dog does not produce tears anymore thank you in advance
