The PetSafe Wireless Containment System allows you to create a safe and secure 1/2 acre circular boundary around your yard without the hassle of burying wire or installing a physical fence. To set up, simply place the Wireless Containment System transmitter indoors and adjust the dial to cover the perfect size area for your dog. This portable system sets up in 1-2 hours so you can easily take it with you when you go camping and more. This wireless fence comes with the PetSafe Wireless Pet Containment System Receiver Collar. The battery-operated receiver collar features a tone-only mode for training, plus 5 adjustable levels of correction depending on your dog's temperament. The collar adjusts to fit neck sizes between 6-28 inches and is recommended for pets who weigh 5 pounds and up. With the purchase of additional PetSafe wireless fence receiver collars, the Wireless Containment System will contain an unlimited number of pets with a single system. OMG Great Product

Love this product and would recommend it to anyone. I have a LAB that love being a social butterfly in the neighborhood and she was starting to wonder towards a busy highway. Got this product and within 2 days the dog learned that when she heard the beeping sound she backed off. The mail lady even was talking to her when delivering the mail and my LAB wouldn't go close to her because she was outside the zone. Wouldn't live without this device. Battery lasts approx. 21/2 months and can be purchase at Tractor Supply. Never had a problem getting replacements for the collar. The collar flashes when batteries are getting low and you have about a week warning before they are completely dead and my LAB is so good now it takes her about a week before she realizes she won't get shocked. I can't say enough about this product. Sticker shock at first but worth the money.

Doesn't Work for Extra Large Dogs

I bought this product 4 days ago and I have already had to return it. I have a very large 8YO Block Head Yellow Lab that weighs in at about 115lbs. I know that the product was putting out a shock, because I made sure that it was something that wouldn't be extremely painful to him. I had it set on the highest setting because he's always been in a 40x50 containment and I knew he would test the boundaries. Well, he tested them and they failed miserably. The shock had absolutely no affect on him. I was sure to check the collar and make adjustments; I ensured that he was wearing it properly. I know he felt the shock, because he would kind of look around and then proceed on like it was nothing. The product could very well work for a smaller dog, but not for an animal of his size. We've decided to build a much larger containment with eletric fencing, because like all labs, he's a digger. My advice is to save your money if you are a large dog owner.

I bought the pet safe wireless unit put a wireless containment system 90’ around my house from my unit. i carried the collar
when it beeped I stuck a flag in my yard until i had a boundary. around my house , I
the n put the collar on my dog and walked her towards the flags i left the flags in for two weeks after pulling the flag off she has never
crossed the boundary. boundary can be set between 30 an 60’ . been two year and will
will never go cross even with collar off. I highly
recommended for any dog, my dog is high str
very. active. Don’t waste your money to dig to digging your yard. check out this unity on you tube.

The range fluctuates from nothing to on/off/on/on more/off/kinda/wait on/wait off/now on/wait now on/nevermind/off/on a little bit/wait off/yeah off/wait/on/on some more/on again/wait/oh yeah on/no wait off/yep off/now on/nope wait off?

half the proposed distance

The half acre distance is not from the base outward, but rather across the center. I only was able to get about a quarter of an acre out before it started beeping. The total length distance covered is a half acre with the transmitter in the center. I ended up returning this unit because it wasn’t as much distance as I needed it to cover.

Wow this is a great product.
