PetSafe Collarless Trainer is a handheld device that emits a high-pitched sound only your dog can hear, capturing their attention and allowing you to correct unwanted behavior like barking, digging or jumping with the push of a button. Choose from three training modestone, ultrasonic, and ultrasonic and flashing lightplus a flashlight-only mode for added convenience. Just as with any other remote trainer, this trainer is recommended to help enforce commands your dog already knows well but may be disregarding in certain situations. If your dog already has a very strong loose leash walking command, this may provide a good solution for you. If your dog does not have a solid loose leash walking command, we would recommend teaching this first before introducing use of a remote trainer. We're sorry to hear your shepherd hasn't yet responded to this remote trainer! Just as with any remote trainer, the purpose of the correction would be to enforce commands your dog already knows well but may be disregarding in certain situations. To help with digging, they would need to know a solid 'leave it' or similar command.
