- A: The Palram Nature Series Mythos Greenhouse is a great starter greenhouse. The twin wall polycarbonate panels are very good for growing. You may want to consider the 6x8 size which is the most popular size for starters. Starting seeds and growing in a greenhouse is trial and error but a lot of fun. Seeds love the heat inside the greenhouse and sprout fast. Temperatures inside the greenhouse can be 20-40 degrees warmer than the outside temperature during the day. So ventilation is important. At night the temperatures will be the same unless you heat it. You will want benches to place your seed trays and plants. You may also want the auto vent kit that opens and shuts the vent window. It starts to open when the temperature nears 70 degrees and will close when it drops below that. This is the most popular accessory. I hope this helps a little. Enjoy!7 years agoHelpful?

- A: For any greenhouse the temperature inside varies. During the day when the sun is shining, the temperature inside the greenhouse can be 20-40 degrees warmer. During the night the temperature inside the greenhouse is the same as the outdoor temperature. Depending on what your plants can tolerate, you may need a heater for your greenhouse.
