The Canopia by Palram 4 ft. x 6 ft. Silver I Hybrid Greenhouse is an ingenious balance of two advanced polycarbonate panels for the optimum environment. The crystal clear side panels offer over 90% transmission for growth, while the 4mm twinwall roof blocks up to 99.9% of harmful UV rays to prevent plant burn. Add to that a ton of features, and the Nature Hybrid greenhouse is perfect for any growing enthusiast. The integrated rain gutters and down spout disperse rain water to the ends, making it ideal for water conscious gardeners to collect. A roof vent and door with magnetic catch keep air flowing, helping you control the temperature and humidity in your greenhouse. When it comes to set-up, this house is designed as a do-it-yourself project without the need for special tools, so you'll be ready to start growing in no time. A smart panel slide and lock system connects the frame precisely and quickly into place and polycarbonate panels slide easily into profile channels. The aluminum frame is durable, maintenance free and rust resistant, allowing you to focus on growing instead of maintaining your greenhouse. Palram Canopia also offers a complete line of accessories designed to make your Hybrid greenhouse more productive, space saving and protective against the elements.

It's ok if you hang in there through the assembly

The assembly instructions are nothing more than a series of illustrations, and not always very clear about which side of the piece should be facing which way. When you finally get it assembled it seems to work ok, except for the sliding locks they provide for the vent window. Those just stick in the track. Mine are currently laying on my desk because I gave up on them.

poor snow resistance

Despite being advertised as snow-resistant, our greenhouse roof caved in after a snowstorm. I had higher expectations for its durability.

Good Framework -Poor Side Window Forms

It’s a good greenhouse from the point of view of the metal work and ease of construction. The top panels need glueing in as they pop out during gusts (not quite sure how the wind gets in underneath but it does..), and I’ll probably put some extra braces over to keep them in place. The side windows are blown sheet plastic which act very poorly. They’re difficult to get in the channels, and, oh my days, do they rattle horrendously in the wind. I’ve had to take them all out as some of the end panel smaller ones have blown out, and the side panels make too much noise. I’ll probably end up putting some sort of substitute all around, possibly more polycarbonate like the roof.

Bare Minimum Upkeep, Works for Me

I've had this greenhouse for a few seasons now, and it's still as good as new. Maintenance has been easier than I anticipated. It's a decent long-term investment.
