The Palmgren 1-Ton Arbor Press delivers the heavy force needed for riveting, squeezing, punching, bending, and other pressing applications. This arbor press has a depth stop that securely clamps to the ram while withstanding full pressure. A lockable fine adjustment screw accurately limits the depth of the arbor press's ram stroke, and the ram on this 1-ton arbor press is reversible with one end solid and the other end with a hole and magnet to hold bits and tools. - A: Yes, it is a 1 x1 square. Also the ram can be flipped around and the 1x1 square will have a hole in the middle that holds one of three punch shapes.7 years agoHelpful?

Very nice addition to my work bench.

The Palmgren Arbor Press is going to be a huge helper with big and little pressing jobs in the garage.I've been wanting an arbor press for a long time. This one is absolutly the best bang for the buck. Im going to use for pressing hollow ground rivets on a 1930 Chrysler grill.

I bought this for my business. Over all it works pretty great the only issue is the magnet on the inside of the presses real cheap and it broke right Away the 1st time I used it. I just wanna head and bought a sturdier magnet included up in there and it works great. As far as price goes there are some presses out there a bit cheaper but not many gor a one ton. The biggest difference with this press is that you have the choice between the wheel or the bar handle. The bar handle can be tightened to a fixed position or loosened so it can slide to give you more leverage. You would have have pay twice as much to find one of the same quality and with both options somewhere else. I would say over all it's definitely well worth the price. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
