Tired of opening and closing your chicken coop door every morning and night? This door fits in any of our OverEZ Chicken Coops as well as other chicken coops. You can set the time for the door to open and close. You will need electric or a 12 volt battery to run it. (Battery not included).

Great Quality.

I have had this door opener for about 5 years now. It works great and has never failed. I live in Florida. The door is opposite my Over EZ coop entrance. But I easily use the rounded end of a rake handle to make adjustment to the settings, so I don’t have to crawl into the coop. Very durable materials.

Great door, but...

A great chicken door! Very easy to install and set up. However! When I purchased it, I went through all the Q&A's amd everyone stated that you can just use 4 AA batteries for power. Be advised that if you go that route, you will need to order a battery holder case box.
The door comes with a connector to attach to an actual 12V battery (think of jumper cables with two clamps). There is no way to use AA batteries without a case holder that has male connector as the male connector is what plugs the batteries into the door. Luckily they're easy to find online and way cheaper than an actual 12v battery!

Overez just ok

Heavy duty. Easy set up with predrilled screws. The 3 stars is due to id being inside coop and you cant change from battery to electric or work with the screen without taking it out.

Expensive but works

Expensive and has not failed so I guess it’s worth every penny at least my hens are smart and don’t hang out in the door way as their is no safety to stop the door from closing on them. Chickens are for the most part smart and stay away it is noisy opening and closing I guess for that reason.
