The Ortho 1 gal. GroundClear Year-Long Vegetation Killer is formulated to kill weeds and grasses and prevent new growth for up to 1 year. To use this concentrate, simply mix 24 fl. oz. with 1 gal. of water in a tank sprayer. Use the vegetation herbicide on areas where weeds are not desired, including driveways, sidewalks, gravel areas, rock and desert landscapes, under decks, on parking areas, along fences and curbs and in unplanted areas. The fast-acting vegetation killer formula should be applied to actively growing weeds.

I purchased the Ortho Ground Clear to kill unwanted vegetation around my yard and it did what says it will do. It took a little while to see the result but it has lasted all summer. I would buy it again.

I can't say much more than I was extremely disappointed. I sprayed several different areas around my lawn and saw absolutely no affect at all so I doubled the suggested mix and use it for spot spraying weeds and I'm really not happy with that either, it kills some and some survive.

No good

Applied some of this 3 days ago, mixed exactly as described in a tank sprayer and have seen very little results to this point. For being “concentrated” it really doesn’t make that much. Around 5 gallons total. Will not buy again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Ortho Groundclear concentrate

not worth it, bought two concentrated gallons, 24 oz to one gallon of water, completely saturated the plants, as per instructions, on poison ivy and virginia creeper and grass. Burnt the edges of some leaves, but that was it . Don't waste your money like I did.

A complete control may take up to 2 weeks. During drought weeds will slow their growth down. If the weeds are drought stressed watering them will typically prompt them to start growing which means they will take in the herbicide which will then kill them.
