1 application & poison ivy is still alive & thrivi

Sprayed poison ivy using correct ratio of product to water and next day, poison ivy is alive & well. Dissatisfied! Will try 1 more application. Should kill on 1st application!

If it rained or was watered too soon after application, the product may have been washed off. It can take 2-6 weeks for weed kill. Can re-apply in 2-6 weeks if needed. Disappointed with Ortho Ground Clear for a Year

I applied Ortho Ground Clear for a Year exactly as directed—on a dry, sunny day, with no rain in the forecast, using a pump sprayer for even coverage. I cleared the area beforehand and followed the guidelines to the letter, expecting a bare patch of ground like the label promised. Instead, most of the weeds barely wilted. A few yellowed slightly, but within a week or two they were already bouncing back. At best, the product just slowed their growth. After a month, the area looked nearly the same as before. For something marketed as long-lasting and powerful, this was really disappointing. I expected better from a name like Ortho. I’d request a refund, but I tossed the original receipt thinking I wouldn’t need it. Lesson learned.

Helping us maintain yard

I’m severely allergic to poison ivy and unfortunately our entire new property is covered in it 😅😭 I hate using chemicals and we strive for an organic and pollinator friendly yard, yet given there’s no other way to take it down, we did resort to this product which seems to be helping. My husband and I walk around weekly and spray any new spots.

Poor poison oak killer.

I got this spray to kill poison oak and I mixed exactly like the directions said and even used a measuring cup. It took two sprayings to kill most of it. I sprayed some nut grass and some other grass around the house and it didn’t even kill that. I will never buy it again.
