Q: Why won’t it spray?..?..

1 Answer
  • A: 1. Be sure the sprayer can build pressure first. Fill with plain water only. Pump the pressure up in the sprayer. 2. Unscrew and remove the end nozzle assembly. Briefly depress the trigger handle. If fluid comes out, clean the nozzle by soaking in warm mild soapy water. 3. If no fluid comes out, remove the wand assembly to the trigger. Briefly depress the trigger handle. If fluid comes out, clean wand assembly by soaking in warm mild soapy water. 4. If no fluid comes out, clean the trigger assembly by soaking in warm mild soapy water. Some models have a nut underneath the trigger handle, remove to clean the inside parts.

Q: Why does these only last a year or if lucky 2 years? I have 3 of these for seperate chemicals , roundup, permethrin, weed spray and not a single one would pump up enough to spray. I haven’t done a review yet, hoping I can at least find parts.

Q: AFTER 3 YEARS MY 1 1/2 GAL. SPRAYER WILL NOT PUMP UP PRESSURE FOR SPRAYING?

1 Answer
  • A: Check if the filter in the tank is clogged. The suction hose/pump has a strainer filter on the end that can be removed and cleaned out. Plain water can be also used to clean out the tank, add water and pump the unit to pressure, use sprayer as normally. Rinse out the tank a few times and see if this corrects the issue. Check end nozzle if pressure builds but will not spray. This can be unscrewed and taken apart to clean in warm mild detergent soapy water, or soak as needed. Check the trigger handle and hose line, and wand line for any dirt buildup, or prior chemicals that can get sticky in the trigger handle, nozzle, hose and tube. Rinse out with warm mild soapy water until clean. Pump mechanism may have failed if issue remains.

I have purchased 2 of these sprayers and both of them have cracked in the plastic valve at the lever. Its a cheap sprayer I no but they do not last very long. I will never buy a sprayer again made by this company. I couldn't even get replacement valves for them. Thanks

Good short term

It started off working good. After a year it's been useless. The pumping does nothing as i get dribbles out. On occasion it might actually spray for a short time then it just dribbles .I've released the pressure, pumped it up nothing. Yesterday I just poured the poison out .Ill be buying a battery operated unit.
