Made with high-carbon Class III galvanized wire, OK Brand barbed wire offers you another fencing alternative. The extra zinc coating provides protection in any climate or temperature. The 15.5-gauge, 2-point barbed wire allows for a light, easy-to-handle product, with the high-tensile strength eliminating the need for stretching during installation. With the fence wire placed on a non-collapsible reel, installation doesn't get much easier.

Good wire

I bought and installed this wire on a 6 strand fence with t-post on 12 foot centers, heavy duty 5 1/2 inch corner post and h braces every 880 feet. I stretched the wire tight. It is stiff and difficult to tie but it is economical and the coating will last longer than traditional barbed wire. I read other reviews about it breaking. That is true if you allow it to kink before stretching. I will use this wire on the next fence I build.

This wire is very brittle and breaks easily. It broke 3 times while I was building fence. I have been in the cattle business all my life and never had that much trouble with any other wire I have used.

    Breaks very easily

    I bought 6 rolls of this and started using. First 3 rolls broke when unrolling. Will be returning for refund and get a different wire. Have used the 4pt in the past and was good quality, this 2pt is not the same.
