The only starter I will use

The only starter I will use. I've had issues with other brands but never with this one. I end up with beautiful healthy birds every year and get compliments from every buyer.

Bags are 40lb not 50!!!

The bags are advertised as 50lb but comes in 40 lb. I was shorted 70 lbs of feed as a result of this and when I complained, was basically told oh well that darn website and given no compensation

This feed killed half our chicks

I would avoid this feed at all costs! We started 125 chicks on it and lost around 30 before switching to a different brand. Within 24 hours they stopped dying on us. Unfortunately there were many that were stunted and by the end we had about half of what we started with. We got a second batch of 125 chicks and are using a different feed and haven't lost a single one. Don't risk it with this feed.
No, I do not recommend this product.
