This no-climb horse fence features a smooth 'S' knot construction, which protects skin, manes and tails from accidental cuts and snags. A 2 in. x 4 in. vertical spacing that deters the entanglement of heads and hooves is also included with this horse fence. This non-climb horse fence offers durability and exceptional longevity in equine, sheep, goat and decorative applications. The Gaucho field fence comes with two coating choices for long-term protection, and the industry-leading Bezinal and Black Paint coating brings an added aesthetic appeal. Q: Can this product be welded, or does the coating prevent that?

- A: We would recommend not welding this fence. The heat from welding will burn the paint off the wire and the Bezinal base coat will melt at the weld point. This will cause bare steel wire to be exposed, which will quickly rust. We would strongly recommend not to weld the Gaucho 40 1348-6 black horseman fence.6 years agoHelpful?

Q: I'm comparing to version w/o black coating. Is this one also considered high tensile & designed to withstand the impact of a speeding horse? Love the black finish but want to purchase the strongest version. How far apart can my posts (set in concrete) be?

- A: If you are looking for the strongest non-climb fence that is high tensile we would suggest going with our Gaucho High Strength Non-Climb fence options. We don't currently offer in the Bezinal+ Black paint at this time.
