The New Age Pet Sonoma Chicken Coop is made with ECOFLEX material that's non-toxic, eco-friendly and impervious to moisture and odor. The durable chicken coop features 2 levels of living space, a nesting box with hinged lid for easy egg collecting, 2 roosting bars and an easy to clean, pull-out tray. The top level has 2 doors, one opens to the main coop while the other allows access to the ramp to the ground level chicken coop, which is open to the ground so your flock has access to a shaded and grassy area. The coop features easy assembly with no tools required for convenience. The pen area is made with NeveRust stainless-steel wire for durability.

Q: Is coop this predator proof?

- A: The Sonoma Chicken Coop is predator-resistant, but not fully predator-proof. It includes sturdy materials and secure latches, but it does not have a fully enclosed or dig-proof base. Q: Thinking of this coupe for about 3-4 chickens. Would it be large enough?

- A: Thank you for the question, the answer depends on the size of your chickens and how much time they will spend in the unit. If your chickens will have access to more than just the space provided by the coop and pen then 3-4 standard chickens should be okay. If the space provided by the coop & pen is the only space the chickens will have access to then this unit is not large enough for 3-4 standard chickens, but should be okay for 3-4 smaller sized hens, bantams, seramas, etc.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Will this coop ever be available again to buy online? The coop shows Online Only but it's not available to add to my cart. It's been on sale for a week or so but not available to buy it.

Q: What are the dimensions of the coop/roost area? Description only gives dimensions of the run and nest areas. Local law requires coop be a minimum of 3 sq ft per chicken. Run size on this meets minimum for just 2 chickens.

- A: Thank you for bringing this up as there are many questions about this. Each locality sets its own regulations on maintaining chickens in an urban environment. The regulations can include the number of hens allowed, minimal yard space required per hen and in your case the minimum interior space per hen. The industry standard is 1 SqFt of roosting space per hen and this is the number quoted in most descriptions of how many hens can be accommodated. As you can see, the industry and your locality's numbers do not agree. The largest barn we sell has slightly more than 9 SqFt of interior space. That would allow you to have 3 hens and abide by your locality's regulations. Like the locality's regulations and the industry standards, they apply to the coops and barns offered by all manufacturers. So, the capacity of any manufacturer's coops/barns is going to be the same per SqFt. There were, at one time, some much larger coops being marketed with interior space in the 20 SqFt range. Never buying a coop from here.

Warehouse employees needs to learn how to read. I bought 2 different coops within a week and the warehouse only sent 1 box of 2. It displays right on the box 1 of 2 or 2 of 2. This company needs to get it together. By the time I received the coop they sold out of them. I had to haul box 1 back to the store.

Small, poor quality, will not hole but couple of full grown chickens
