Q: Can this be given to an adult pig who isn't miniature?
2 years ago- A: Nature’s Best Organic Mini Pig Adult Pellets can be given to a regular adult pig - they would just have to feed according to the pig’s body weight (so it would be more total feed, but it would be the same instructions of 1-2% body weight). This feed is meant for weight maintenance and not production. So, if the pig is a breeding animal, we would recommend adding some of the Nature’s Best Organic Young & Active Pellets to the diet, which provide the calorie/protein needs of a production animal. Q: 1-2% of body weight -is this the amount per Day? For a 100lb pig that would be 1-2 lbs of food per day! This seems far to much(?) we feed ours 1/2 cup - twice a day, plus free range hay. Please explain if this is correct
