Great Back Up Heater

Awesome heater, Easy to hook up, Holds set temperature very well within 1 degree. No smell after the fist time you fire it up. I would recommend this back heater to everyone. This heat kept my 1500 square foot house at 70 degrees for 36 hours do to snow storm power outage.

Well there are a few flaws to the design the feet are too short which causes the hose to bend against the floor releasing gas into the air. It's hard to lift it up because the hose is so close to the feet. Honestly I should have went with something else especially for the money I paid

This unit is incredibly simple to install and it’s fantastic at its job. Perks are built in co detector and auto shut off for that although I highly recommend installing a second one for safety sake. Has a durable feel and iOS easy on the eyes as well. Not sure if I would use it with the floor mount but I suppose that depends on where you have it.

Excellent Heater

I added the blower fan and connected it to my propane gas outlet that is normally used for fireplace propane logs, and it works great. It did not come with all the fittings to connect it, so I had to go to the hardware store and buy what was needed. I also made sure to have a gas detector plugged in near it in case the connection I made leaked. It has not.

Don't assume the hookup for the propane tank is in

I should have read the reviews before I purchased. I spent two days attempting to hookup the propane and trouble shooting. I used the propane hose and regulator from my turkey fryer. The instructions only mentioned that I need to buy a 90 degree elbow if I was hooking up to a propane tank and using the feet for the heater which were included. I called Teck Support, was told the reason my pilot would not light was th pressure from the regulatir was too high at 10 PSI. So I purchased the Mr. Heater hoses and regulator for about $53.00. My dis-satisfaction was that requirement should have been clear at the purchase and then in the instructions too. Every propane appliance I have purchased in the past included th hookup to th tank. My experience was propane grills and fryers.
