Q: Does this heater produce a flame at the bottom or around it? Asking to see if a pet passes by would they catch their tail on fire?
4 years ago- A: Thank you for your inquiry. The clearance to combustibles from the sides of the heater is 60". You will want to keep your pet at least that distance away from the heater while in operation. The flame that is produced is contained within the burner assembly and there is a protective screen around it, but you still need to adhere to the clearance to combustibles. Have a great day!4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Does it have a thermostat? A high medium low setting?
5 years ago- A: Thank you for your inquiry. No, this heater does not have a thermostat or high medium or low setting. This heater is only 125,000 BTU's.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: do i have to have a 100lb tank
7 years ago- A: HI bigmoose, A heater in the higher btu range burns more fuel than a smaller tank can produce. You might get away with 2 -20 lb but going larger will prevent the heater from turning off due to lack of fuel, especially when the temps go down. Rich Mr Heater7 years agoHelpful?
