Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed The heaters were great. You advertise by showing a picture with a base. You don't sell them with a base, you don't sell the bases and you won't even order them. Maybe would have been better going someplace else. TSC is becoming "not" my favorite store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saves our trailer batteries in cold weather We bought this at the Olympia store for boondocking in our Airstream in cold weather. It has been keeping our 27-foot trailer at 50 degrees in temperatures in the low 20s at the Sun Valley Jazz Festival during its run time, which has been a reliable 7 hours each of 3 nights. Then the furnace kicks in for a couple of hours until we can turn on the generator again at 7:00. Much less demanding than running the furnace fan all night. Does better than we expected for heat and running time. Easy to use, good product.

How long will the 1 pound cylinder last and does it fit inside the unit?

Asked by: ReneeD
The bottle can last 4 hours.. on high ...give or take. With the variables I recommend to test on a timer to give a dialed in result to determine the number of bottles needed for your use. thanks, Rich Mr Heater

I have the mr buddy heater, worked perfect last winter, then put back in the box until now, have it hooked to a 20lb propane tank which I just filled , held pilot knob down repeatedly for 1 to 3 minutes, igniter works but pilot will not lite, what’s wrong?

Asked by: Dale8709
HI Dale, Give the ceramic and pilot tube a blast with canned air. Relight. If that does not work. Dip qtips in alcohol into the tube and let sit for a minute. Look at the behavior of the pilot flame ... does it touch the wire end of the thermocouple? is it curled? is it yellow. continue cleaning until the flame is blue and straight and it will keep the burners on.
