For outdoor and container plants you use 1 packet per 1 gallon of water and with indoor plants you only need 1 packet per 2 gallons. You can use it when watering all flowers & plants as well as trees and shrubs. I am genuinely surprised at how versatile it is and that it smells nice too. You can imagine that it starts working fast because it hits the roots right away. I have used Miracle-Gro soil for my plants for years and they stay happy and healthy. This is a recipe to help them become twice as big. The packaging suggests use every one or two weeks so watch your plants to see which routine suits each one. The package has 24 sticks in it, which means for me, a package lasts about a month since I can put it in so many different types of plants. There is a line on each packet to guide where you cut it open so shake it down before you do so you don’t loose any. In this case the dotted line suggested by the manufacturer was not low enough for the product to pour out. Not a big deal. I always have my garden shears handy and I adjusted accordingly. The package is resealable and takes just a small space to store it. The joy of bigger plants and blooms make this extra step in watering well worth it!
