The Mighty Mule Narrow Band Receiver Antenna is designed for Mighty Mule gate openers (except the 200 Series) and works with narrow band transmitters (FM134, FM135 and MM3BT). This is a replacement for the AQ201-NB antenna that comes standard in many Might Mule gate opener kits. For assurance. the Mighty Mule receiver antenna is backed by a 12-month warranty and technical support.

It works

This is the current version of the receiver I had previously. Due to a near lightning strike, my old receiver died. With the exception of the molded company initials and the sticker on the back, it looks and functions identically to the old unit. I wired it in, and it just worked, which is exactly what you would expect. It does seem to work a little better, with a slightly longer range, but my old unit was installed a few years before I owned the property, so it may just be degradation of the internal electronics over time. It was significantly less expensive to purchase through Tractor Supply than the manufacturer direct.

Dear TMC100, Not sure which opener you tried but, the Mighty Mule AQ201-NB Narrow Band Receiver Antenna is designed for Mighty Mule gate openers (except the 200 Series) and works with narrowband transmitters (FM134, FM135, & MM3BT). This narrowband receiver antenna is a replacement receiver for all Mighty Mule gate opener kits except the Smart Capable Gate Openers. This is the description of the Antenna on TSC.com. If you tried this on any of these, you are correct, it will not work. Glad you returned it.
