The Mibro 5/16 in. 18 NC and 3/8 in. 16 NC Plug Tap is used for cutting internal threads. This heavy-duty plug tap is made from tool steel that is titanium nitride coated for reduced friction. Plug tap sizing consists of two numbers; the first number refers to the diameter of the hole being threaded, the second number states the number of threads per inch.
