The Mibro 1/2 in. NF Fractional Plug Tap is used for cutting internal threads. This heavy-duty plug tap is made from tool steel that is titanium nitride coated for reduced friction. Plug tap sizing consists of two numbers; the first number refers to the diameter of the hole being threaded, the second number states the number of threads per inch.
- Made with quality tool steel that's titanium nitride coated to reduce friction
- First 3 to 5 threads are tapered to assist with straight and accurate start for threading
- Plug tap designed to thread new or rethread existing holes
