Both deep brood boxes are constructed from solid wood with reinforced box-joint corners and are assembled using screws and bonded with adhesive for added structural strength and durability. The included deep frames come fully assembled and are fitted with black plastic foundation coated with food-grade beeswax, helping encourage fast comb draw and brood acceptance.
