I had a 27 year old riding horse with loose manure and really quirty gas problems (which made a real mess not only on the horse but the barn as well !!!). Spent a year trying to find a cure for the problem with no avail until I found Opti-zyme. I gave it a try and it cleared up everything within a matter of 2 weeks. Now I feed it daily. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with an older horse or any age horse with digestive issues like my senior horse had- it does exactly what the bag says and more!!

Tried it on ulcer prone horse

I have tried this product on my three horses. One of which is very prone to ulcers and the other gets diarrhea when we ride hard. I have used Omega Smart gut in the past with great results. I tried Opti-Zyme because it was easy to get at Tractor supply rather than ordering online. It didn't seem to make a difference in the one horse but the other two definitely did better on the sure gut product. I love the convenience of picking it up as I need it versus ordering online. I don't think it did any harm but I will go back to ordering online the product I know works. The price is good and its always on the shelf for ease of pick-up.

This supplement help reduce my horse's free fecal water syndrome. As anyone knows whose horse has this problem, it is very hard to control
My mare is a rescue from a situation where she had to fend for herself after her paddock fence broke down and the owner (who was in his 90s) stopped feeding his animals.
I believe she is still stressed from going to rescue then to a foster farm, and finally my neighborhood Stable. She still has break through FFWS, but it is much less.
