Great purchase

I decided to buy this tank on a ship to store online. It was delivered on time and in excellent condition. All of the sales people were more gracious. The tank itself is great. The way the handlers made and the overall tank markings are excellent. And the price was better than a competitors tank. I will do it again when I need another one.. Keep up the great work Tsc.

Made in Thailand not USA as described on line.

I was very disappointed to discover these tanks are not made in the US as described on line but made in Thailand. In addition I could have purchased foreign made tanks on line for $22 less per tank.

What a lot of people don't know is that the larger the tank the better propane vaporizes, especially in cold weather. This is like your car getting better gas mileage, plus if your using it inside ( as we all know we're not supposed to) it means less bad fumes inhaled.
It's also a good idea to let a tank sit upside down for a day or two when filled and then without shaking the tank open the valve and let it spray out a little.
The oil used for order to smell leaks will settle in the bottom.
This doesn't need to be every time but at least once a year, the oil will build up and cause problems with many appliances especially heaters which it why so many are buying the in line filters now.
The filters do work to a point but check them if oil drips out of the filter drain your tanks as described ( upsidedown) before using them again. Exchange tanks are even worse the exchange companies never purge tanks.
