- A: This is a powerful product. It could catch the wood on fire and especially if it was treated or painted. I would stick to a smaller flame source. If the deck was not already down, it could have been used on individual pieces with a water source close by.5 years agoHelpful?

Very sturdy easy to handle cart

This is a nice unit very handy self starter igniter with a very sturdy two-wheel cart easy to get around with on rough ground even and a very long hose which makes it easy to walk around without having to move the cart

Does not work well with 20lb tanks

After filling the 20lb tank that comes with this product and installing in on the base and strapping it in, I found that the tire on one side rubs against the tank.I ended up placing foam pipe insulation around the bottom tube that holds the base of the tank to get the tank centered better and stop rubbing. Should not have this kind of issue for this price. Seems to be designed for larger tanks.

Igniter quit working before 1 tank of use.

I had to buy at Waverly, TN TSC since they were the only store within 50 miles that had the item in stock. I did get 15% off on Veteran's Day and had to use my rewards before the end of the month, so I got a good deal. The employees at the Waverly, TN store were great! I like the torch and the set-up. Only problem is with igniter. Took back and they are going to replace it for me when they get another one in. It is a very handy tool.
