Nearly Idiot-Proof! Haven't Found Any Better!

I was first turned on to TSC's "Majic Tractor, Truck & Implement" paint about 6 months ago, by a heavy equipment operator who used it (gallon size) to paint his equipment and on restorations (auto & tractors) he did for friends, etc. Claimed it was just as good (durability, look, characteristics) as anything from an automotive paint supplier, but a much better price! I was hesitant to expect the same out of a spray can, but decided to use it on some new 16" steel wheels I had gotten for a '65 F-250 restoration project I'm doing, because didn't feel like firing up the spray equipment for just five wheels. I did the wheels in my garage laying down four coats (only two on the back side) over the period of four days. The wheels were already prepped with primer from the manufacturer, so I just lightly scuffed them & went at it. Don't know if it was the pain itself, or the nozzle design (or something else), but it had been a while since I had used a can to spray anything I really wanted to look nice. You can imagine my surprise when the nozzle never clogged, or cause the paint to splatter. From start to the last bit of paint in the can the delivery was a fine mist of paint that you were able to completely control how it laid down. The temps in the garage over the four days ranged from over 80 degrees to only about 50. The paint performed the same no matter. On each coat it went down well and had no problems with runs ( I stopped "too early" on each coat rather than trying to deal with runs later). On each coat the paint smoothed out and when dry to the touch (only a few hours) had a very nice, smooth sheen to it (not "high gloss", but definitely better than what I expected out of a can). After 24 hours, it was well ready to accept the next coat & very durable to touch or being handled. I sprayed all five 16" wheels using only four cans of paint (could have done it with less, but had the cans so used them up). The tires have been mounted on wheels (by a tire shop) & paint has held up nicely (I did let everything set for a week before I gave the tires & wheels to the shop to mount).

Slick Paint Job

Used this to restore an old lawn tractor. Was sprayed over a well prepaired primed surface. Temperature was around 50. was able to lay it down with out running. Cured in a few days, could lightly touch the next day. Small parts were baked @ 150 with excellent results. Could handle and fully cured after cooled. I dont recommend that you wear a brand new pair of high dollar work boots. (see pic) Excellent product.

Yes, I recommend this product.
