- A: a) Check the fuel shut-off valve is in the “ON” position. b) Check that “ON”/“OFF” switch is in the “ON” position. c) Move the throttle lever to “FAST”. Always operate the engine with throttle lever in the “FAST” position. d) Move choke control lever to “CHOKE” position. e) Grasp rope handle and pull slowly to the point of resistance. Once resistance is felt pull rapidly to start the engine and to avoid engine kickback. f) After allowing the engine to warm up, move the choke control lever slowly toward “RUN”. In cold weather give the engine extra time to warm up before slowly moving the choke lever toward “RUN”. I bought the machine same day will not cross my lawn both Wheels folded in half good machine but the wheels are no good plan on buying new Wheels

Good machine - wheels are junk!

The machine works well. It.tends to have problems with limbs with more than a slight bend to them but overall, it does the job and is pretty easy to start. Where I’ve had problems is with the wheels that come with it. They are NOT designed to carry the weight of this chipper and they warp as they sit in one place for long. I am actively looking for a pair of more robust wheels now. I see several reviews complaining about the wheels and yet Lumberjack continues to provide the same trash, so it’s obvious they don’t intend to fix the problem. They tell everyone the same thing. They need to gather more information…yada yada yada.

Great chipper horrible wheels

Wood chipper works great the wheels that are on it are horrible was chipping up brush and wheels folded over causing wood chipper to fall over while being used
