Krylon 12 oz. Fusion All-In-One Spray Paint, Metallic

I have now used about 25 aerosol containers of Fusion All-in-One Dark Metallic on several automotive restorations. I also use Sherwin Williams Automotive Paints so I am familiar with the company’s paints/technologies. Observations: (1) Beautiful color and finish when SHAKEN THOROUGHLY / COMPLETELY and applied properly - at temps below 80 degrees and humidity levels below 70%. (2) Good. not great durability for exterior applications subjected to UV, salt sprays, etc. (3) Product will on occasion, spatter, not atomize completely. (4) Product has a limited shelf life - two cans I purchased sat for six months and exhibited color inconsistencies -one can ended up much lighter in color than the other when applied. (5) Most paints I use require one to maintain a “wet edge” or the paint will lose sheen — such is not the case with this product - you can randomly apply across surfaces and sheen is well maintained, consistent with no “dry areas” evident. (6) Product is by no means “High Temp” but I did use it on one engine compartment firewall application and it’s performed acceptably well - enduring surface temps I estimate to be in the 100-140 degree range. I recommend this quality product.

The paint would’ve been pretty have a been able to actually use the entire can which I needed for coverage. After one application, I can feel a lot of paint inside the can and it stop spraying. Quite expensive for a defective can that you cannot use

The finish on a metal table is like sandpaper. I've tried various cans and tried sanding between coats. I've used this exact paint previously with excellent results.

I have the all in one blue metallic and it is awful it's clumpy and looks old I wouldn't recommend
