Q: I have a fence with some rust. Can i just take a wire wheel across those areas and apply this rustoleum? Just want to know if all the rust needs removed before application
10 months ago- A: We're here to help, Michelle! Remove any loose rust or previous paint with the wire wheel, and then wash the surface with a good degreasing cleaner. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and allow to fully dry. Then apply 2 or more light coats of Rust-Oleum Professional Cold Galvanizing Compound Spray a few minutes apart to avoid drips and runs. — Rust-Oleum Product Support 1510 months agoHelpful?
Q: Is this non-toxic? I plan on using it on a water basin.
a year ago- A: Great question! Rust-Oleum Professional Cold Galvanizing Spray is considered non-toxic once it has fully cured, but we cannot recommend it for use on a water basin as the coating would bubble and begin to peel with that type of water exposure. Currently, we do not have any coating suitable for that use. — Rust-Oleum Product Support 15a year agoHelpful?
