I purchased this because I wanted a brown, not because of the hammered finish. But as some of the other reviews said…I’d been using it for less than a minute the first time the nozzle clogged. I had shaken it for the 2 minutes before I started. After cleaning it with mineral spirits I tried again. Nozzle clogged again..after spitting big drops of paint. Over and over I soaked the nozzle, wiped with a paper towel, it sprayed for a second or two if I was lucky. Eventually even submerging the nozzle and dropping drops of the mineral spirits into the hole to the paint didn’t work. I probably got to use half, maybe 2/3 of the pain in the can…not quite enough to finish my project. Very disappointing. I will find a different brand to finish….after the 72 hours I have to wait is through.

I bought two different "Hammered" colors for two different Jobs. I am extremely impressed! used hammered silver to paint two brand new 6.0 power stroke heads. I didn't read anything cautionary ,(Except the fire Hazzard if the paint isn't dry no don't compact the can, through it in a fire, you know, common sense stuff. So, I painted them! I was impressed. Not only did it dress up the engine but, the color is no darker then the day I painted. I hit the sides of the heads and valves. Had a little bit left over so, I hit the valve covers. This paint also goes pretty far so, I removed the manifold and hit that too. It was late and the dogs needed to be fed and I let everything dry so, I came back in the Am. Slapped everything back together. I fired the truck up and let her warm up. Almost six weeks later sitting on a hot compression engine. I didn't know if it would hold up to engine heat. Well, guess what? It does.. I'm impressed! This hammered silver paint did the job! I didn't need to do it but, it looks fantastic! Still had a pinch leftover in the spray can so, 10 weeks later, I hit the turbo.
