The bag shows gray rocks, but the actual color varies. Some pallets of bags have gray rocks, and some have mostly brown rocks. If you buy from different pallets be aware that the rocks may not match.

This drainage rock worked well for backfill behind my retaining wall. It came in manageable 50-lb bags, had a uniform light-gray color, and easily tamped down to a firm, level surface. Had to order in 30-bag batches to avoid the higher delivery costs. With one exception, delivery was very prompt.
