Awesome, reliable mixer! I use it multiple times weekly for dough & to cream icings and cookie ingredients. Every kitchen needs this appliance! Also loooooove the color options on these mixers, I got the buttery yellow one and it is so gorgeous in my home. My only issue has been with the standard attachments that come with it— I do not like that they are powder coated— the paint chips and flakes off over time and to me that’s not good because I don’t want paint chips in my food. Kitchenaid does however sell reasonably priced stainless steel attachments so it’s not a big deal.

Not what I expected

The product is ok, not enough power per reputation even following manufacturers guides, c shaped dough hook not as effective as spiral shaped. Have experienced bogging down even making 1 loaf of bread. Other capabilities work well, have not purchased any power takeoff accessories until I have some time with mixer and motor performance. While it has more power than my previous mixer, I will use it for light duty work moving forward.
