I bought this Artisan stand mixer to replace an older model Classic KitchenAid stand mixer. I enjoy using this model due to its larger capacity bowl and bowl handle. Your stand mixer makes mixing cookie batter so much easier! Only one concern: the Contour Silver finish scratched easily on a section where the motor section meets the base.

I bought this Model KSM150PS in Contour Silver to replace my 25YO KitchenAid Stand Mixer. My old one walked off the counter while mixing bread dough and didn't fare well after the 40inch fall. Still a very good mixer with decent accessories/attachments. I replaced the included enameled dough hook and paddle with stainless steel equivalents because the enamel eventually chips off into your food. There are no obvious improvements on the new one and, to my disappointment, KitchenAid has done no CIP to improve stability. This one will walk off the counter too if left unattended even for a few minutes. Even a simple levered suction cup would solve this potentially catastrophic design flaw.

I love my mixer and the accessories it came with. This is a great tool for baking or for mixing just about anything I need. I save so much time and energy especially for baking bread, I no longer have to devote so much time to kneading .The quality of the. Ixer is fantastic and I LOVE THAT IT IS EASY TO CLEAN.

I have been very frustrated since I took it out of the box. The lock won't work. At first, I literally could not pull the knob forward. Then I watched videos to try and adjust it. Nothing has worked. I can't lock my brand-new mixer after weeks of fussing with it.
