KBS Coatings Fusion FPP, Flexible Plastic Primer, Aerosol

KBS Fusion FPP is a grey flexible primer in an aerosol that gives paint a tight bond on hard to paint flexible surfaces. Use it on plastic bumpers, trim, fender flares, mower and UTV body panels, fiberglass, carbon fiber, urethanes, and wood, and it can go on metal too. It dries to the touch in 10 minutes and is ready for KBS Top Coater, KBS MAXX, BlackTop, or other topcoats in 30 minutes. It withstands temperatures up to 250 F. One can covers about 18 sq ft in one coat.Apply between 55 and 82 F. Clean and dry the surface; KBS Klean is recommended if cleaning is needed. For maximum adhesion on plastic, sand lightly with fine sandpaper or steel wool first. Shake the can for at least one minute after the mixing ball moves freely, hold it 10 to 14 inches from the surface, and apply one light coat, or 2 to 3 light to medium coats 3 to 5 minutes apart. Allow 30 minutes before sanding or topcoating. Topcoat within 7 days; after that, scuff with 300 grit. Clear the tip after use by turning the can upside down and spraying until it runs clear. Clean up with KBS number 1 Thinner or lacquer thinner.
