It's certified for mulitpass!

Printed on the package is that it is the "-11" designation so it's OK to do multipass with it, whereas the "-GS" designation on other cheap wire allows for single pass only. Otherwise, this wire seems a bit odd to run requiring a shorter stick out (3/8 to 1/2) to run right. It also seems to have some brittleness to the welds with a but more cracking than I'd like. But it is cheap and I'm happy to not worry about doing multiple passes.

Most Helpful Critical Review

Not the greatest wire , cheap is not always good.

I used it on clean, bare, well-grounded 3/16 metal for butt welds, tack-ups, and fitting pieces. There is *heavy* spattering, and is more smokey than Lincoln or Hobart wire. The flux was not uniform consistency/quality in the wire which at times caused bubbling porosity. I returned the wire.

Not the greatest quality

It’s poor quality wire. It doesn’t burn in as well as the higher quality. We only bought it out of an emergency situation or we would have bought the Hobart Wire. We will not purchase this again

Junk

I'd rather superglue metal together than use this junk. They should call it rice crispy wire. All it does is snap, crackle, and pop. Horrible flow no matter what settings. Save yourself the trouble and go buy harbor freight Vulcan wire.

No, I do not recommend this product.
