Ingersoll Rand 5-1/2 HP 8 Gallon Gas Wheelbarrow Air Compressor is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't start! We bought this compressor end of December 2015, it would squeal but would not start. We returned it to Tractor Supply for the same model and it will not start either. There has to be something wrong with this model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is bulletproof I've had mine for years and run it at 100% duty cycle on jobs. I bought a second one used and its the version with the Briggs & Stratton engine but its just as good. These are the best gas powered whelebarrow compressors I've ever used.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seemed like the right tool for the job. I've had this compressor for a year and put approximately 100 hrs on it. Regulator would not adjust after the first three weeks. IR replaced it but the second doesn't work either. Plastic just not up to job conditions. Honda engine started easily until I was 140 miles from home on a weekend job. Ran the compressor half the day with no problems. Shut it down for lunch. After lunch, tried to start it but there was a loud squealing noise in the engine when I pulled the cord and engine would not start. Starter cord very hard to pull. Belt not loose, plenty of oil in engine and compressor. Clean gas. Should have started but didn't. I'll have to drive 280 miles for free and pay my workers travel time to finish the job. All in all, it was an expensive day and it will be even more expensive for repairs or replacement. I'll think a lot before I buy another one of these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough for mechanics truck The compressor is not enough to run 3/4 or 1" impact, had to pair it with extra 30 gallon tank, also I can't keep pull starters on it, defiantly get extended warrantee

Does this have the automatic idle down?
