Q: can this be used outside? will it withstand rain?
2 months ago- A: This nesting box is made from OSB construction, which will degrade when exposed to weather and rain. It's not designed for outdoor use without protection from the elements.2 months agoHelpful?
Q: Can i see how this is finished inside a coop? Do you put a partial roof on this? Does the chicken go in from the front or back?
7 months ago- A: Hi Pammy! This comes fully assembled so you would simply place it inside of your existing coop. The back side with the opening is where you would reach in to remove eggs so it should face towards the outside of the coop. There are some really good YouTube videos for the ImPECKable nesting boxes that I would recommend you take a look at.7 months agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be used outside for ducks?
4 years ago- A: Ducks, unlike chickens, don't need roosting bars and will rarely use nesting boxes, instead preferring to make a nest in one corner of the house on the floor.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: I have 5 chicks that are about 4 weeks old give or take a few days. In their brooder it seems like they are trying to find a space for them to snuggle up and sleep. Would one or two of these boxes be beneficial for the immediate/near future?
5 years ago- A: Yes, this a perfect place for them to snuggle up in. They don’t have all their feathers so they are just trying to keep warm.5 years agoHelpful?

Q: How do I use these nest boxes with 100 hens? And how many will I need?
9 years ago- A: You would only need about 25 nest boxes for their 100 hens placed in a comfortable area. The hens will take turns and lay at different times throughout the day. So there’s no need for each one to have her own nest box.9 years agoHelpful?
