The Happy Hen Treats Chicken Nesting Box Bucket Kit turns almost any 5 gal. bucket into a chicken coop nesting box. Just attach to your bucket, mount and add Happy Hen Treats nesting pads inside to prevent egg breakage. For heavier breeds, the dover hole may be increased from 6 in. to 8 in. This nesting box bucket kit is designed for lasting use, made to resist rot and corrosion.

- A: As for the Nest Box Bucket kit, we recommend mounting the bucket to a post using woodscrews and washers. But we've seen them mounted several different ways including using truck straps to keep them from rolling7 years agoHelpful?
Q: How is this mounted, especially for heavier breeds, so it doesn't split out the wood it is mounted to or the bucket?
